MESSAGE RE: QPLs are now QDSs (Qualification Dataset)

The DoD has transitioned to electronic QPLs for all preservation related specifications. The QPL is no longer available as a stand alone document and should be referenced electronically to ensure the most accurate information. QPL information is available via DoD ASSIST Quick Search (which does not require registration).

How to Obtain a QDS

Use ASSIST Quick Search.

To locate the specification of interest, enter the document number (just the number, no prefixes) in the middle box named Document Number Box. Click "Submit," then click on the Document ID link In the Basic Profile Overview box, click the Qualification link to the right of the Document Date. You will then be in the Qualified Products Database for the specification of interest.
