The DoD is in the process of transitioning product qualification information from Qualified Products Lists (QPL) to the new Qualified Products Database (QPD), which is accessible via ASSIST. All new and revised product qualification information is now being issued via the QPD; no more new or revised QPLs will be issued. For additional information on the QPL-QPD transition, see Defense Standardization Program Policy Memo 07-3.

Revision 3 (28 Aug 06) of NAVSEA's Departure From Specifications (DFS) Decision Tree is now posted in Technical Resources on the Navy Resources page.
